Eljay Engineering today announced that it has expanded its outsourced network management services for IP Telephony Service Providers.

With Eljay Engineering, level 1 VoIP support includes opening up and verifying trouble tickets with customers by collecting information on Source IP, call samples, VoIP test results, and DID Pcap traces. It also includes locating and troubleshooting issues using tools like SIP view, Big Billing, and Porta Billing, IT asset management and network inventory management, and much more.
Level 2 VoIP support by Eljay Engineering consists of support for providing various provisioning, maintenance and troubleshooting support for the platform, including 1) dial-plan provisioning, 2) NANP provisioning, 3) DID provisioning, 4) PGW platform administration for HIS, BAMS, SLTs, 5) H323 and SIP trunk administration, 6) communication manager dial-plan and telephony feature administration using Vision OSS provisioning platform, and 7) telephony services administration. This also involves support for Cisco HUCS having Packetized voice service provider framework using Cisco PGW2200 & Cisco Multiservice TDM access gateways.

Eljay Engineering sets up a Cisco Unified Communications test and simulation lab and conducts workshop in Malaysia
Eljay along with its Malaysian Partner sets up a Proof of Concept Lab in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Cisco Unified Communications Infrastructure featuring IP Telephony elements. On the test lab, a workshop was also conducted for two days. This was helpful for many IP based Networking professionals to get a hands on experience in a real time Unified Communications environment. The lab is established in MIMOS Technology Park, Kuala Lumpur. This workshop was conducted in partnership with our Malaysian Partner and MIMOS, which is an R&D organisation that functions as an advisor to the Malaysian Government on technologies, policies and strategies relating to technology development.
Eljay has done various workshops on Unified Communications Infrastructure in Technologies such as Cisco and Nortel. The company comes with a wide expertise in IP Telephony implementation, support and management in various technologies like Cisco, Nortel and Avaya. Eljay Engineering, a dominant provider of Enterprise Managed Services and world class Network Operations Center Services participated in the 16 th Convergence India, 2008. South Asia\'s largest ICT Expo and conference held from 19 - 21 March, 2008 at C - 56, Hall No: 11, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
The three day events have embarked the awareness of convergence and latest trends of IT in south Asia particularly in India. The 16 th Convergence India 2008 was witnessed by more than 1500 Indian and International participants from different parts of the globe.
